Offering an extensive photographic explanation of Watkins's techniques, this book shows how the vessels are built, how various materials are used to create different surfaces, how clay slips are made from organic materials collected at the various sites Watkins often visits in Texas, tech house music and how both technology tech house music and serendipity are part of the firing process. Tech house - Tech house is a fusion of house and techno music. Although it uses the same basic structure as house, elements of the house 'sound' such as funky jazz loops and booming kick drums are replaced with elements from techno such as shorter, often distorted kicks, smaller hi-hats, noisier snares and more synthetic or acid sounding synth lines.
