Deep house - Deep house is a style of house music. It is loosely defined by the following characteristics that distinguish it from most other forms of house music:
Tech house - Tech house is a fusion of house and techno music. Although it uses the same basic structure as house, elements of the house 'sound' such as funky jazz loops and booming kick drums are replaced with elements from techno such as shorter, often distorted kicks, smaller hi-hats, noisier snares and more synthetic or acid sounding synth lines.
Deep Dish - Deep Dish is a DJ and dance music duo consisting of Iranian-American members Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. Based in Washington, DC they are well known for providing house or dance remixes of tracks by very famous stars like Madonna, Cher and Gabrielle, and for their live DJing sets.
Kwaito - Kwaito is a music genre that originated from Johannesburg, South Africa in early 1990s. It is based on American house music (aka Garage music) beats, albeit typically at a slower tempo than those usually found in house music, and additionally contains melodious and percussive African samples which are looped, deep bass lines and often vocals.
